Contacted tech support as my remote stopped working. Very fast diagnostic and support. Sent a new one straight away. Great customer service!

Made from the most brittle plastic so any small knock breaks tiny bits of plastic that hold triggers/fixings in place. Screen mounted directly to metal so again any small knock breaks the screen. Less ergonomic than previous version. Such simple flaws overlooked, poor design

The Evolve Phaze Remote Bluetooth feels fantastic in your hands. Its solid metal construction gives it a premium feel with a nicely balanced weight, and both the acceleration and brake triggers respond buttery smooth. It’s a huge upgrade over their previous plastic remote.

There are a couple of minor adjustments to get used to. The power button is positioned differently than on the older remote, so your muscle memory will need a little time to adapt. Also, when the remote goes to sleep, I had to figure out that you need to press both the throttle and brake triggers at the same time to wake it up.

My only major observation is that, a few times while rushing to power on both the board and remote, the remote accidentally entered trigger adjustment mode and reset itself to the factory settings. I’m guessing I unintentionally pressed a certain trigger combination that caused it. When that happens, I have to recalibrate the trigger and disable the speed limiter again before riding.

My original remote had broken last year. I just received the gold version of this and I am so stoked to get back out and ride. I also upgraded to the oil slick ceramic bearings and it made a world of difference. These bearing spin for what seems an eternity. Evolve coming through with another quality product.

Much appreciated for the remote I purchased for my stoke skateboard, works great, and the fact that it made it my address is choice as. Now I’m carving to work n home n also cruising with my young 1 while he’s on his bike. Chur evolve team, my next purchase will be some blue wheels n new nuts n bolts as my bolts are starting to round, churchur, stay safe team.😉

Looks good, hopefully this remote will last a bit longer than my original phaze remote

On my first ride, new remote and battery - my stoke threw me at 30km/h. No warning, brakes locked up. Skin off everywhere, concussion and a sholder that probably needs an xray. Fuck me - don't know if can even ride it again.

The phaze remote is a game changer! No weird wheel type thing to change your speed/breaking. The remote has an independent trigger for speed/acceleration and a top trigger for the break! It’s also all color and fully customized in the options15/10 all day!

It was the wifi I change my order to the right one lasted one ride . Still waiting for a response to my emails about it . More evolve crap controllers . How dare you send me this done buy this shit never again will I buy evolve!!!!

Extremely happy with the knowledge & help from initial emails to phone calls re: upgrading my remote to the Phaze as I purchased a second hand Carbon GTR & the old remote had no working LCD screen & the staff were bloody helpful & knowledgeable about their products. Absolutely fantastic first impressions of this company & looking forward to the fun ahead shredding on my new purchase. Woohoo

Great remote. Considerably heavy compared to the original gtr remote. Does everything that it needs to. Nice upgrade.

Piece of crap broke just as easy as the GTR controls’ drop it from 4 feet height and the screen broke can’t see nothing no more 💩 paid almost 200 dollars for the phaze controller just for it to break some BS yall need have a 1 year warranty on it since yall claim it’s so indestructible haa.
