Force Bash Guard Kit

Bloody good handle, confident guard will protect motors over rough'n'rocky trails and be O.K. if careering off without me.
For me hard to fit, stripped screws had to get skate shop to fix and fit. Not cheap but worth it.

I have a one week old Diablo and there’s already a line on the motor where some little pebble got caught between the cage and the motor. Needs a little more clearance or a sub guard.

I really liked it it’s the best board I’ve ever had.its a 10 for me.and for sure I will put the words out.. I will purchase more and more soon.

Longtime skater since the 70's, always loved speed so never did the pools or ramps, my thing was longboards bombing hills at 60mph.
Now this electric board is perfect, Handles great fun to carve around on and it likes Dirt!!

The Diablo is a heavy board. Wanted this as a handle to roll around when not riding it. Looks great and does the job but does tend to attract the odd stuck stick

they break too easy. I lost count of how many I’ve broken or sheared the screws off. Also, the screws won’t stay tight even with red lock tight.

This is a must have for a board and I'm not really sure why it even ships without it since most other manufacturers include it at this point. Not only does it protect your motors, but it's the perfect little handle. I wish Evolve would put a little more into the website so that this, bushings, cups, etc were suggested at checkout, which would have saved me quite a bit on shipping charges.

It may “look tough”, but it’s not “built to withstand even the roughest terrains”. The way you pick it up is awkward and feels bad to carry the board around as the ergonomics are just plain uncomfortable. Carrying by just the trucks feels way better. It also adds noticeable weight. Mine completely broke off after a two mile city ride in dedicated bike lanes. When I got to where I was going I bent down to pick it up and it was a shock to see it gone with all four screws clearly holding on to the rest of what was my bash guard. Emailed customer service and their instant response told me to buy another one as mine was out of warranty. Major disappointment and I am not interested in ordering the same exact thing knowing it would break off again in another year or so.

Maybe I missed the option when I bought the board. But I didn't notice until I saw one an a buddies board. Regardless, I'm glad i put it on for a little more protection and it looks really good too.

I was happy with this guard until I found out the little stones on the road or dirt on the trails could go in between the guard and the motor. The mini stone scratch my left motor and made a loop mark :(
Today, a piece of wood went in between the guard again and scratched left motor again.
I got this guard to protect my Motors and seems it is rather damaging !!

Great for towing your board with hand and for standing board up right whilst having a bevy 😊

Loving the new force bash guards on our diablo bamboo and diablo carbon! Having that added piece of mind protecting our motors from any ledges and curbs, as well as a useful handle bar for yourself or anyone else handling your board ie. Bike and scooter valets in SF, is an absolute must.

This is amazing. It protects your most precious part of your board and you can ride stress free. Very easy to assemble. STOKED!!!

The metal is far too thick that rocks get wedged between the bash guard and motor and just grinds away at my motors. This bash guard has realistically done more damage to my motors than protection. Wish I would have known they sold the Stoke bash guard and works on the GTR2, otherwise I would have bought that. Cause I doubt any rocks would get stick in there, cause of the thinner metal.

The product is decent enough and it does what it says on the tin, however the threads need chasing after machining/powder coat. A couple of the screws took some serious torque to tighten home. On the flip side I guess the excess powder coat in the threads has a loctite effect. If you have poor tools or no sense of torque required you might either break a screw or strip the allen head. (Bad day) I love your boards but you really need to do better in this regard.

This bash guard is perfect as a handle, and to protect the motors if it somehow goes backward into something. But my complaint is that it has done more damage to my motors than protection. When I'm riding my AT wheels and riding on gravel, small rocks get caught in between the bash guard and the motors and just grinds away at the motors, the bash guard is too thick and too close to the motors. Could be solved by using a skinnier design, like my Acedeck has. I have silver lines all over both my motors from this happening. Never had a situation where it actually protected my motors either. But either way it's nice to have as a handle, and the possibility of it ramming something with the motors.

I got this to fit my Carbon Diablo, and it's a mainstay now. Super important to keep the motors protected - the guard kit does exactly that. Recommended.

I love the look of it, but I wouldn't recommend it if you ride on surfaces with loose stones. Does a great job as a stone trap, they tend to get caught between it and the motors, and a bad one will seize a motor. Not cool when you're doing 40kph... Keep an eye out for these scars going around your motors, because this is what is happening. I've gone to the bar style guard now, will ride that for a bit once I've healed up and see how that goes.

So simple to install, designed to fit perfectly wish I had purchased it earlier.

It’s ok, looks better than the previous model, but got one design issue, it almost damaged my engine , small screw got picked up from the street and got stuck between engine and guard blocking engine for a while.
I’m considering o swap to old design.

The install was straightforward but a little pesky with the tight fit and close tolerances.
Took ~ 45 minutes. Hardest part was due to working on ground cuz my workbench was filled with unfinished do-dad's and then dealing with poor visibility / lighting as everything is black on black.
Looks great an now I've got a handle too.
Great quality of parts and very happy with outcome.

These motors are why you get to where you're going. May as well protect them. Plus this guard makes it nice to stand on its nose when you're standing stationary, like in a line or something so you don't have to rest it on the tires or what have you <3

Easy to install and super robust. Messed around with 3D printed bash guards prior and wished I just originally bought this.
